GreenwichHouse Pottery's Dark Celadon

Well there it is, my glaze of choice, its oh so tempting to try the sherzers red (is that how you spell it?) or the Michael boyer blue, or spotted shino or temoku but the truth of the matter is these beautiful reduction glazes work best on slightly varied surfaces and not on the extreme abundance of detail on my pots.  The teeming life on my pots is gunked upon with too much glaze so ONE application OR a few very thinned down washes of glaze are appropriate.  Too thin a glaze though will not produce any effect on the clay so I must plan accordingly.  Stay tuned...
